We are seeking a qualified IT Systems Specialist for a significant contract opportunity with potential for long-term engagement. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective systems management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and uphold comprehensive documentation to articulate business objectives and technical specifications.
  • Engage in Disaster Recovery Planning, Testing, and Execution.
  • Adhere to established application and organizational protocols, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain clear communication with the business regarding issues, scheduled outages, and prolonged downtimes.
  • Comply with departmental Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide second-level support for escalated service concerns.
  • Participate in after-hours support as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for business enhancements and propose viable solutions.
  • Effectively convey company policies and procedures.
  • Enhance job knowledge through training and continuous learning.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills by working autonomously and collaboratively, while effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities.
  • Follow all quality and safety protocols, ensuring safe operation of equipment and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in process manufacturing across multiple locations.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Oracle EBS or a comparable ERP system.
  • A minimum of 2 years in Application Development, Change Management, Version Control, and Configuration Management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in developing and automating SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Project Management Certification is preferred.
  • ITIL Certification is an advantage.
  • In-depth functional and technical knowledge of Finance & Accounting and/or Manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in SQL Developer, Toad, and/or Microsoft Access.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.
