Hirose Electric USA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our team. Key Responsibilities- Identify and build relationships with key accounts to drive product solutions and increase sales.
- Support regional sales teams with customers to promote strategic relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Lead customer relationships and provide leadership to supporting technical teams.
- Provide customer/market insight to drive product development with internal teams.
- Facilitate the development of marketing materials through customer feedback and industry trends.
- Develop strategies and direct sales activities towards target accounts, US Regions, and Markets.
- Create and deliver customized product presentations.
- Direct the selling strategy on key opportunities, including pricing, service, investment, risk, scheduling, and technical promotion issues to achieve successful design wins.
- Provide support to customers throughout the design and production process, keeping customers informed of progress while continuously seeking customer feedback.
- Monitor production of products and identify growth and future needs of customers.
- Meet established sales account goals within assigned customers and markets.
- Comply with established Hirose sales policies, pricing guidelines, and best practices.
- Facilitate effective communication between engineering teams and customers (internal and external).
- Self-motivated and positive attitude with great energy.
- BS/BA degree in Business or Technical field required or industry experience.
- 10+ years sales experience.
- Five+ years sales experience in the electronic component industry preferred.
- Must possess the technical ability to fully comprehend customer requirements and provide the appropriate HRS product solution.
- Develop systems and processes for effective prospect identification, qualification, and management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Organizational skills must be above average. Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) in order to work with both external and internal customers. Able to clearly and concisely communicate across different cultures.
- Excellent presentation skills, including creating PowerPoint presentations.
- Ability to resolve issues and escalate in a timely fashion and to the customer's needs.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sales force, along with web-conference systems.
- Must be able to travel as needed. Up to 30% of time to multiple customer R&D locations and may include international travel.
- Experience in high-speed interconnects and signal integrity.
- Experience with new product development process.
- Proven sales experience.
- Strong internal organization negotiation skills.
- Experience working for an international company preferred.
