Respiratory Therapist Transport Children Nights

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a key member of our Pediatric Transport team, you will be responsible for providing emergency care to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities- Transport neonatal patients to the nursery or NICU
- Initiate process improvement ideas to enhance patient care
- Assist with clinical instruction and precepting of lower-level therapists
- Perform airway maintenance, including intubations, extubations, and tracheostomy changes
- Properly utilize patient assessment skills, protocols, and chart review to determine efficacy of therapy
- Perform respiratory therapies and oxygen delivery per protocol
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of Neonatal ICU experience (per Florida State Rule 64J)
- At least one year of pediatric critical care experience
- Current valid State of Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
