Job Title:

Pediatric Critical Care Transport Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Pediatric Critical Care Transport department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders. You will initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders
  • Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures
  • Maintain accurate and precise documentation
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team
  • Perform quality control and maintenance of equipment
Qualifications:
  • Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Basic computer/mechanical training required
