This temp-hire position is based in our local office and requires the ability to work on-site. As a Staffing Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us meet the demands of our client staffing needs in the local area.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruit candidates using internal databases, community outreach, and other networking strategies to meet local client needs.
- Complete payroll processes, I9 documentation, and other internal hiring requirements for temporary staff at client locations.
- Ensure the quality of approved candidates for hiring teams and prepare them for their interview experience.
- Understand client profiles to provide successful candidates.
- Approve or dismiss candidates following screening and prepare approved candidates for client interviews.
- Monitor and report on recruiting metrics with creative and proactive ideas to drive results.
- Interact, correspond, and maintain effective communication with clients, candidates, and hiring managers via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Follow up and drive conversion of candidates in the pipeline within 24 hours of application.
- Meet all required compliance reports weekly.
- Drive to client locations for first-day check-ins or client meetings as required.
- Ability to work overtime as needed to complete work on a daily/weekly basis.
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting or HR is required.
- Experience managing hourly staff is required.
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, admin support, or customer service is required.
- Strong office administration skills (Outlook, MS Office Suite) are required.
- HS Diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes is required.
- Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone are required.
- Creative idea generation is essential.
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
