We are in search of a passionate individual to join our culinary team, specifically in the pastry division. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in menu planning and development for the hotel, ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of all food items.
  • Manage labor and operational costs through strategic organization, purchasing decisions, and inventory oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation standards set by Four Seasons, as well as local, state, and federal regulations, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to meet operational needs and participate in regular meetings for departmental coordination.
  • Foster a harmonious and professional working relationship with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Capable of typing, costing recipes, creating pick-up charts, and utilizing spreadsheets to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct frequent quality inspections to ensure food standards are consistently met.
  • Inspire and motivate team members, facilitating team-building activities.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor to guide and develop the pastry team, contributing to the overall success of the operation.
  • Flexibility to work in various shifts and areas of the pastry kitchen to meet business needs and gain necessary knowledge for career advancement within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within a pastry kitchen.
