Business Analyst Job Description

As a Business Analyst at NESC Staffing, you will play a crucial role in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing Application Lifecycle Management tools. Your primary responsibility will be to support a suite of web and on-premises applications for internal and external users, supporting the corporate business lines of payroll and staffing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to provide production support, answer questions, and gather requirements for software development requests.
  • Write and compile documentation, including training materials.
  • Assist in Tier 2 Production Helpdesk Support questions as they arise.
  • Assist in Product Planning and Backlog grooming sessions.
  • Assist in QA for scheduled releases and hotfixes by performing functional and regression tests against acceptance criteria and test cases.
Requirements:
  • BA in CS, CIS, or Business.
  • 4+ years with re-engineering of business processes, workflow analysis and performance optimization.
  • 4+ years Web or SaaS application development analysis experience.

US Citizen or Green Card status required.
