Departmental Context:
This role is integral to the healthcare team and functions under the guidance of the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor or Practice Manager, adhering to established institutional and departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiographic procedures with precision and care.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field is mandatory. Candidates with qualifications recognized by licensing bodies may have the degree requirement waived, provided they possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold current licensure in Massachusetts and be eligible for registry; ARRT registration is required within six months of employment. Continuing education must align with state and registry mandates.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is essential.
- A minimum of one year of experience is preferred; candidates should be adept at managing patients across all age groups.
