About the Role

As a Trauma Associate Sales Representative at Smith & Nephew, you will play a critical role in supporting the Trauma Sales team within an assigned territory. Your primary responsibilities will include installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our products, as well as demo inventory setup and customer in-service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Trauma Sales team with installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our products
  • Assist with demo inventory setup and customer in-service
  • Transport customer inventory between accounts and cover surgical cases for sales reps within certain accounts
  • Study technical information and surgical procedures in the Trauma Orthopaedics product portfolio
  • Specialize in solutions for internal and external fixation to restore the function of the injured body part(s) quickly and effectively
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as an EMT/Paramedic, Surgical Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, or Operating Room Aide, athletic trainer
  • Proven track record selling/converting business at the surgeon or hospital level preferred
