Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Monitor hemodynamic status, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Supervise and coordinate patient care as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Able to recognize cardiac rhythms – preferred
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required as per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – required within 90 days of hire
