Position Overview

The Healthcare Quality Analytics Manager will collaborate closely with the Director to design, implement, and assess health outcomes and performance metrics aimed at enhancing member care. This role entails overseeing a team of professionals responsible for analyzing performance data and its implications for quality enhancement within our network of providers. The incumbent will strategize and develop performance forecasting to attain optimal ratings from relevant health oversight organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a mission-driven culture focused on high-quality performance, emphasizing customer service, consistency, dignity, and accountability.
  • Guide the team in executing departmental responsibilities while collaborating with leadership to align with both short- and long-term departmental objectives.
  • Supervise the collection, analysis, and submission of health plan performance results in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage the quality analytics team, ensuring effective support for performance measurement initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, evaluate, and set performance goals for team members.
  • Oversee the production of quality metrics for affiliated entities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in quality analytics, providing education to partners on performance metrics and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Facilitate the collection of performance measures and monitor progress towards established goals, implementing quality improvement initiatives as necessary.
  • Prepare reports on quality metrics to support various medical functions.
  • Assist in departmental budgeting processes.
  • Represent Quality Analytics in various committees and meetings.
  • Provide consultative support to improvement teams as directed by leadership.
  • Develop, review, and update policies and procedures as needed.
  • Educate staff on performance metrics and their implications.
  • Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing quality analytics operations, particularly in healthcare settings.
  • Experience in a managed care environment, familiar with quality performance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience that demonstrate the ability to fulfill the essential duties of the position are also acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
