This role is designed to enhance the financial operations at Crumbl Foods, LLC, collaborating closely with fellow accountants and financial leaders.

The position will report directly to the Controller and is expected to function autonomously while managing routine accounting responsibilities and effectively communicating with relevant departments and leadership as necessary. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to convey financial information clearly to both accounting professionals and non-financial personnel to fulfill their duties efficiently.

This role is based at the corporate headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for Crumbl Foods entities.
  • Support the Controller in establishing, executing, and sustaining robust internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to develop, implement, and maintain effective systems and processes.
  • Prepare journal entries, examine general ledger accounts, and conduct reconciliations in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Coordinate with other accounting team members to accurately document inter-subsidiary transactions.
  • Work in tandem with the Controller and the FP&A team to facilitate the creation of financial reports and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Expenditure team to ensure precise accounting of accounts payable and spending processes.
  • Engage with managers from various departments to accurately account for the dynamic environment at Crumbl.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is necessary.
  • Proficient in accounting software, particularly NetSuite.
  • Strong skills in spreadsheet applications are essential.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, cost accounting, and other specific accounting needs related to physical inventory.
  • Effective communicator, capable of articulating accounting requirements to both accountants and non-accountants.
  • Adept at analyzing workload and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of database management and best practices in data handling.
  • Quick learner, able to adapt to new software and processes efficiently.
  • Familiarity with MacOS or the ability to learn new operating systems swiftly.
  • Understanding of sales tax regulations, registration, and management.
