Job Title: School Nurse

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a School Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Healthcare Services: Assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.
  • Individualized Healthcare Plans: Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs, in collaboration with parents/guardians and other healthcare providers.
  • Health Records: Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
  • Education and Training: Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
  • Accommodations: Provide accommodations for students with disabilities as needed per school's requirements.
  • Transportation: Assist students with transportation to and from school as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN License: Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington.
  • Experience: Experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred).
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
