Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and dedicated Financial Operations Specialist to enhance our finance department. In this role, you will oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring the smooth management of financial transactions while maintaining precise financial records and ledger entries. Your contributions will be vital in optimizing our financial processes and facilitating our transition to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily transactions related to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and reports of financial activities.
  • Ensure prompt billing for services rendered and monitor receipt tracking.
  • Process vendor invoices and manage disbursements in accordance with company policies.
  • Reconcile bank statements and address discrepancies in financial documentation.
  • Assist in the migration of financial data from QuickBooks to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulatory standards.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate records of all financial documents.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
