Required Qualifications

Education:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Experience:

Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in materials management and customer service.

Essential Skills:

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to meet time standards, possess basic computer skills, and exhibit strong communication and organizational abilities. Proficiency in handling moderately complex requests through effective research is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse and Storeroom Duties:

  • Accurately receive goods and services into the designated system.
  • Ensure daily stocking of shelves and inventory items with incoming supplies.
  • Timely delivery of non-stock items to the requesting departments.
  • Pull and deliver daily inventory orders and backorder releases.
  • Conduct daily counts and restock par-level areas.
  • Assist in returning items to vendors and managing shipments for repairs.
  • Deliver items on the same day they arrive.
  • Account for and expedite overnight or urgent requests for delivery.
  • Customer Service Responsibilities:
  • Respond to phone inquiries, return calls, and assist departments with various questions and requests.
  • Collaborate with clinical areas to assess par levels and resolve supply issues.
  • Document supplies requested and issued as 'walk-ins', including logging patient IDs if chargeable.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
