Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Returns Specialist to join our team at Staff Management | SMX. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $18.50 per hour, with the potential for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review audits of quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Apply process audit techniques, such as tracing, performance comparison, and risk identification, to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Process incoming returns, including identifying product defects, validating quality, and entering data into SAP for credit.
  • Document and recommend the disposition of non-conforming material, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in problem-solving and process improvement teams to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Inspect new product lines at the component and/or finished club level to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Evaluate the condition of product and determine warehouse location for optimal storage and retrieval.
  • Responsible for processing SAP transactions to move inventory into the appropriate warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Interact with the customer service team via CSRP process to resolve questions and concerns related to return authorizations.
  • Oversee the processing of all returns without a return authorization number, researching for any open RA and forwarding information to the returns coordinator as necessary.
  • Complete scrap process for damaged exchanges or credits, and process reship RAs for repair or return to the customer.
  • Assign grades to all clubs according to CGI standards and assign clubs for refurbishment based on CGI standards and queries.
  • Use SAP to identify and receive materials, ensuring quantities and quality meet requirements, and distribute materials appropriately.
  • Unpack and check goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods and rejecting unsatisfactory items.
  • Identify golf clubs manufactured by Callaway Golf and competitors, detecting defects, dents, shaft burns, non-factory reshafts, and counterfeits.
  • Moderate knowledge of production processes, general audit terminology, and variation and common causes.
  • Able to apply basic math operations, calculate percentages, convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals, and possess basic level skills in email applications, MS Word, Excel, and MS Visio.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and projects, lead and work as part of a team, and distinguish between a process and a system.
  • Able to think tactically and strategically, analyze complex information, and make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Proficiency in receiving, organizing, and storing materials, and knowledge of SAP-Return Authorization processing.
  • General knowledge of current and historical Callaway Golf products and the returns flow and delivery process.
