Job Summary

MP Materials Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our production operations team at our state-of-the-art facility in Fort Worth, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the efficient and organized movement of materials, products, and goods within our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Movement of Materials; reading work orders/transfer orders, physical and system movement of material, cycle counting, and shipping finished goods/materials.
  • Operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
  • Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Participate in the Safety Programs and proactively uphold the Safety Culture.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform required equipment inspections, sweep, dust, mop and organize warehouse/work area to ensure safe operation.
  • Cross train and help in other areas depending on workload.
  • Complete any other tasks as needed or as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year material handling experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to operate lift trucks, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
  • Must be able to follow established written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding and knowledge of manufacturing management systems and ERP, prefer SAP.
  • Knowledge of how workflow operates in a production facility.
