Job Overview

Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition. This includes:

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Active RN license in New Jersey
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Preferred: NIH certification
  • Proficient in essential nursing skills including hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation
Additional Information

  • Patient-to-nurse ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:3
  • Flexibility to float to various pediatric units as needed
