Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Specimen Collector to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for collecting and processing specimens from patients in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples using phlebotomy techniques and store them in accordance with established procedures
  • Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders
  • Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and laboratory results
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient specimen collection and processing
  • Stay up-to-date with latest laboratory procedures and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
  • Minimum 1-year experience in clinical specimen collection or a related role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
