Clinical Support Specialists Wanted for MedStar Washington Hospital Center

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Support Specialists to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing or healthcare, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, collecting specimens, and performing venipuncture/phlebotomy. Additionally, you will assist with patient examinations and procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.

We offer a competitive salary of $24,100 - $35,600 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and education assistance programs.

Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality patient care and support services, including assistance with ADLs and personal hygiene, specimen collection, and venipuncture/phlebotomy.
* Assist with patient examinations and procedures, maintaining accurate records and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED, completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program and active CNA certification, or completion of a national Registered Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic program/course with at least six months or more experience as an EMT, CCT, or EMTP.
* BLS - Basic Life Support certification is also required.
