Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per annum

About the Role
As a Phlebotomist at RemX, your primary responsibility will be to collect blood samples from patients for testing, transfusions, donations, or research. You will work closely with our medical professionals to ensure that all samples are handled and processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and store blood samples from patients using phlebotomy techniques
  • Distribute samples to designated departments within the hospital or laboratory
  • Monitor storage and inventory of supplies, including needles, syringes, and other equipment
  • Maintain a clean and healthy work environment, adhering to laboratory safety policies and procedures
  • Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions to blood sampling

Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. A minimum of 6 months' experience in phlebotomy, nursing, or related fields is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Additionally, you must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
