Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Management: Oversee the daily maintenance and repair of our vehicle fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of fleet staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and achieving their goals.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of vehicles and equipment, ensuring that we have the right assets in place to meet our operational needs.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of the fleet department, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our fleet operations are compliant with all relevant regulations and laws, including OSHA and other industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: ASE certification preferred, with EVT certification also desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

Working Conditions:

The Fleet Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The role will require the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be required to travel occasionally, with some overnight stays possible.
