About the Role

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Support Specialist to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the NRO Commercial System Program Office (CSPO). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert contracting support to our Government clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to Government Contracting Officers in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Assist technical personnel in developing statement of work or data deliverable requirements.
  • Support the preparation of contract modifications and supporting documentation for actions such as funding, award fee, period of performance extensions, and administrative modifications.
  • Enter contractual information into contract writing system software as required.
  • Monitor and evaluate contractor performance for compliance with contract terms and conditions, ensuring timely submission of contract deliverables.
  • Review completed official contract files to determine all contractual actions are satisfied.
  • Provide general office management support, including typing, document review, filing, file maintenance, photocopying, scheduling meetings and rooms, and calendar management.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience, Master's degree and 8 years, or PhD and 5 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Working knowledge of current contracting regulations and procurement procedures.
  • Proficiency in preparing contract files for review.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate between Government organizations and summarize information for presentations.
  • Ability to work well in small and large teams.
