Job Title: Behavioral Intervention Specialist

YAI is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote habilitation, behavioral support, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless support and coordination.
  • Provide training and guidance to direct care staff to ensure effective implementation of support plans.
  • Monitor progress, make adjustments as needed, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, education).
  • Experience working with individuals with I/DD and their families.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral support principles, habilitation, and person-centered approaches.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
