Job Summary

We are seeking an Experiential Therapist Pool I to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for developing, planning, implementing, facilitating, directing, and evaluating experiential therapy programming in all specialized treatment areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement experiential therapy programs that promote psychosocial functioning and expressive activities in a psychiatric setting.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document patient/resident progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Supervise student interns and coordinate their training.
  • Provide individualized treatment within a group setting, utilizing recreational activities to aid patients/residents in learning recovery skills.
  • Maintain awareness of CBT and DBT skills and provide education to patients/residents as needed.
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in art, music, dance, recreation, or other therapies required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification/registration through appropriate credentialing board preferred.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment required.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Formal training in management of aggressive patients required within 60 days of hire.
