Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Experiential Therapist to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health. As an Experiential Therapist, you will be responsible for developing, planning, implementing, facilitating, directing, and evaluating experiential therapy programming in all specialized treatment areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement experiential therapy programs that meet the needs of patients/residents
  • Conduct experiential therapy sessions, evaluate program effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and community resources to provide comprehensive care
  • Document program activities, patient/resident progress, and treatment plans
  • Participate in training new employees and contribute to the development of the Experiential Therapy department
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in art, music, dance, recreation, or other therapies required; Master's degree preferred
  • Certification/registration through appropriate credentialing board preferred
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR or American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Formal training in management of the aggressive patient required within 60 days of hire
