We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workforce Development Team Lead to join our team at First Solar. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of workforce training and development programs for Production Operations and Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training solutions that meet the needs of our associates.
- Lead the development and implementation of career development pathways for associates, including skill assessments, training requirements, and recognition programs.
- Supervise direct reports and provide guidance on the development and delivery of training solutions.
- Work with external partners to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in workforce development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including high schools, community colleges, and STEM centers.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on workforce development and training.
- 5 years of experience leading teams, with a focus on developing and implementing training programs.
- 5 years of experience in teaching or workforce development, with a focus on developing and delivering training content.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, HR organizational development, or educational degree in a STEM field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
This is an office position that requires frequent travel to production sites and external partner locations. The ability to wear personal protective equipment and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
