Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Marjaree Mason Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing information technology functions.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and direct maintenance and repair activities, including new construction, painting, and ground maintenance.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program, including scheduling repairs and maintenance, and reviewing work orders to determine work priorities.
- Supervise and train staff and volunteers to ensure maximum efficiency, accuracy, and safety of work.
- Ensure facilities are clean and present an attractive appearance by working with custodial staff.
- Monitor and recommend systems and procedures to ensure the security of all facilities, including cameras, monitors, alarms, and security gates.
- Ensure facilities are compliant with OSHA health and safety practices, and educate and train staff on the proper use and care of agency equipment and facilities.
- Manage supply orders, and maintain infection control procedures and ensure implementation.
- Serve as a liaison with contractors, architects, engineers, and material and equipment suppliers.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school.
- Three years related experience in maintenance and repair, computer/telecommunications and safety, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years experience supervising staff or volunteers.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
- Ability to understand the needs of MMC clients and a willingness to address their concerns with action designed to create change.
- Ability to adapt to the environment, to solve practical problems, to deal with a variety of multiple variables and situations where only limited standardization exists and to make independent decisions within scope of responsibility.
The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee also works indoors, environmentally controlled.
