Job Summary

Geisinger Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Advanced Acute Care team at Geisinger Community Medical Center. As an RN on our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
  • Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, according to policy and procedure.
  • Complete assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
  • Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania.
