Job Summary:As an Inpatient Registered Nurse in the Advanced Acute Care Medical and Oncology Unit, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care to our patients and their families. You will work closely with our healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and compassion.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and diagnostic studies, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized plans of care to address these needs.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including family education, discharge planning, and other necessary interventions.
- Initiate and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania).
