You will also spearhead professional development efforts, assess program outcomes, and manage financial resources to comply with budgetary constraints.
Core Responsibilities:- Offer guidance and support to educational staff in the execution of CTE initiatives
- Facilitate strategic planning among early college, career, and technical education initiatives
- Partner with higher education institutions to create early college access programs
- Design and conduct professional development workshops for educators on CTE curriculum
- Assess program effectiveness for continuous improvement and oversee financial expenditures
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline
- A minimum of five years of leadership experience in CTE
- Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate
- Comprehensive understanding of CTE principles and methodologies
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
- Proficient in data analysis and technology tools
The position will be conducted in educational and office settings, utilizing office equipment and may involve some physical activities.
Employment Conditions:
Work hours may include evenings and weekends, with the potential for extended hours on short notice.
Compensation: Grade 11 on the BCPS CASE 12-month pay scale $106,830 - $161,872.
Retirement Benefits: Eligible for participation in the Maryland State Retirement System.
Citizenship Requirement: Must be a citizen, resident, or possess a work VISA in the United States.
