We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing programs related to College, Career, and Technical Education.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement CTE programs that align with state and national standards.
- Provide leadership and consultation to school administrators, teachers, and central office personnel on CTE program implementation.
- Coordinate strategic planning and office operations among early college, career, and technical education programs.
- Collaborate with Maryland institutes of higher education to offer early college access opportunities for students.
- Develop and lead professional development for teachers, career navigators, and work-based learning coordinators on CTE curriculum and local, state, and federal requirements.
- Evaluate CTE programs to identify areas for improvement and develop new programs to meet labor market demands.
- Manage budgets and oversee the use of state and federal funds for CTE programs.
- Master's degree in a field related to career and technology education.
- Five years of progressively responsible leadership/management experience in CTE.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, a Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate with an Administrator I endorsement.
The work is interactive and will be performed in schools and office environments. Work includes the operation of office equipment and occasional limited physical activities.
Salary and BenefitsGrade 11 on the BCPS CASE 12-month pay scale $106,830 - $161,872. This position is eligible for membership in the Maryland State Retirement System.
