Colovore is a rapidly growing company that specializes in providing high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, big data, and private and hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux System Administrator to join our team.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience working in systems administration or DevOps roles, with a strong background in Linux systems administration, virtualization, and containerization. They will be responsible for configuring and managing our IT systems, including network, private cloud servers, and facilities infrastructure, as well as providing day-to-day technical assistance to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Linux systems, including network, private cloud servers, and facilities infrastructure
  • Provide day-to-day technical assistance to customers
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend automation tools
  • Support the backend systems and software codebase of our customer portal

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in systems administration or DevOps roles
  • Strong background in Linux systems administration, virtualization, and containerization
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, BASH, and Powershell
  • Experience with monitoring systems, such as Nagios or Zabbix
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Non-post graduate tertiary education in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Current Linux and/or Cisco certification

Compensation

Compensation will be determined based on experience level and fit, and will consist of a base salary and bonus incentive program.
