POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for servicing and maintaining HVAC systems for existing clients while fostering strong customer relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute skilled tasks in the installation, upkeep, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems; replace filters, belts, clean coils, and lubricate components as needed.
- Measure and analyze readings from pressure gauges, thermometers, and electrical meters to assess equipment performance.
- Interpret and follow diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and manuals for the installation and repair of HVAC systems.
- Oversee the commissioning, start-up, and verification of HVAC systems.
- Install electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control systems.
- Carry out brazing and soldering tasks necessary for the installation or repair of HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, repairing and testing equipment before returning it to service.
- Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean and organized manner.
- Maintain and service hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Complete required documentation (time sheets, invoices) and electronic communications accurately and promptly.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and keep the vehicle clean at all times.
- Provide technical assistance to clients and/or fellow technicians.

Required Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
At least 3 years of relevant work experience or a graduate from a trade school
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills with minimal experience in Microsoft Excel
Certificates & Licenses:
Registration with the State of Texas and Refrigerant Certificate; Valid Texas Driver's License
Additional:
Familiarity with construction plans and specifications
