Position Overview
As a Facility Maintenance Assistant, you will engage in routine manual labor under direct supervision, primarily aimed at maintaining our athletic fields while also performing various other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping and pressure washing.
2. Repaint safety markings on exterior stairs.
3. Move furniture and equipment as needed.
4. Conduct general cleanup tasks.
5. Assist Building Maintenance and Grounds staff, focusing on mowing and maintaining athletic fields.
6. Operate a small vehicle for material delivery and removal.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in maintenance, construction, or related fields.

Employment Conditions
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively with others.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Proficient in using power equipment as instructed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English for instructions and safety communications.
