Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is seeking a Janitorial Operations Supervisor. The Janitorial Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing all aspects of the cleaning program while exemplifying and enforcing safe work practices and protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have experience leading sizable cleaning teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the work activities and schedules of team members.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new staff.
  • Prepare and compile written reports.
  • Conduct quality, service, and safety inspections; ensure employees are utilizing personal protective equipment, supplies, and tools correctly.
  • Serve as the communication link between management and front-line personnel.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Report personnel and customer-related issues to management.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions in areas needing improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive records.
Qualifications
  • Experience in janitorial or facilities management is required.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, with a significant amount of walking involved.
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment and client needs.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written (including emails and reports).
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the work site is necessary.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Teams, and other standard software applications.
  • Experience in unionized environments is a plus.
Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 per year

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st or 2nd shift
