About Fairway Management:
Fairway Management (FWM), a subsidiary of JES Holdings, is responsible for the administration, upkeep, marketing, and operational management of over 230 apartment complexes and various single-family rental properties across multiple states. The FWM team works collaboratively to enhance occupancy rates, maintain competitive rental prices, and ensure high living standards for residents.

Role Summary:
The Regional Facilities Operations Supervisor at Fairway Management plays a crucial role in mentoring regional maintenance personnel and facilitating the upkeep of apartment complexes within a designated area. This position involves conducting training sessions throughout the year and performing essential maintenance duties, including carpentry, painting, and basic equipment repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Uphold customer service excellence by promptly addressing resident maintenance concerns.
  2. Conduct regular property inspections and oversee necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
  3. Work in conjunction with the Regional Manager and HR to recruit, train, and nurture on-site maintenance staff.
  4. Coordinate the schedules of maintenance technicians with property management teams.
  5. Monitor and document work orders, maintenance activities, safety compliance, and inventory levels.
  6. Assist in evaluating maintenance staff performance and conducting performance assessments.
  7. Inspect properties for safety and security concerns and take appropriate action.
  8. Contribute to budget planning and maintenance operations.
  9. Provide coverage for staff absences and emergencies as required.
  10. Oversee and review vendor jobs to ensure timely completion.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Expertise in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and janitorial services
  • HVAC knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with building trades and tools
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly
  • Skill in interpreting drawings, sketches, and specifications
  • Experience in a supervisory role
