POSITION SUMMARY

The KBS Site Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the janitorial operations at client locations, ensuring exceptional service delivery to both customers and team members in a dynamic and challenging environment. This role encompasses comprehensive management of operational, financial, and workforce planning aspects, including budget oversight and labor management. The Site Manager is tasked with driving efficiencies, achieving cost savings, and establishing clear objectives for service quality, operational productivity, and employee safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in large-scale distribution centers.
  • Completion of 10 Hour OSHA certification training for general industry.
  • Certification as a Forklift/Scissor lift operator in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred experience in janitorial operations.
  • A minimum of 5 years in supervisory and leadership roles within distribution environments.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Proficient in critical thinking, multitasking, and balancing strategic and operational tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to change and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills to foster rapport with clients.
  • Experience with human resources processes, including staffing, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Physical ability to walk or stand for extended periods in varying environmental conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the operational budget, labor planning, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Supervise janitorial personnel, ensuring proper training and performance management.
  • Set clear expectations for staff, prioritizing employee safety and timely incident reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective execution of daily operations and address any deficiencies promptly.
  • Coordinate staffing for all shifts, confirming daily schedules with shift leads.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, implementing disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety programs and machinery usage, including forklift training.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by KBS leadership or clients.
