The Team
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team collaborates with clients to design and implement highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. Our Solutions Architects work closely with AWS Sales and various AWS teams to tackle customer business challenges and expedite the adoption of AWS services.
The Role
As a trusted advocate for our customers, Solutions Architects guide organizations in understanding best practices for advanced cloud-based solutions and offer strategic advice for migrating existing workloads to the cloud. You will play a key role in driving successful business outcomes for a wide array of enterprise clients through your enthusiasm for educating, training, designing, and constructing cloud solutions.
You will have the chance to influence and execute a strategy aimed at fostering deep adoption and extensive use of AWS within your enterprise clients, mobilizing resources within AWS and collaborating with our vast partner network.
Travel Requirements
Travel is expected to be around 35-40%, primarily within the region.
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within the software or Internet industries.
- Experience in architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions for enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of AWS services, market segments, customer demographics, and industry verticals.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction across internal and external organizations.
- Experience in the Media and Entertainment Industry.

Our compensation reflects the labor market across various US geographic areas. The base salary for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
