**Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) Role at Texas Oncology**

As a dedicated healthcare professional at Texas Oncology, the largest community oncology provider in the country, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, high-touch, evidence-based cancer care to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs.
  • Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
**Job Responsibilities:**
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
  • Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
  • Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
  • Administer all medications/blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time and technique.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
**Requirements:**
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 0-3 years of RN experience.
  • Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
