About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infusion Specialist at Texas Oncology. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing infusion therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and coordinate patient care to ensure seamless delivery of infusion services.
- Assess patient needs and provide education on treatment options, medication management, and symptom control.
- Administer medications and therapies under the direction of a physician, ensuring accurate dosing and technique.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments provided, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Minimum 0-3 years of RN experience in a similar setting.
- Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
