Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Production Teams: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees, including label machine operators, case packers, and plant operators.
  • Implement Daily Production Activities: Develop and implement daily production plans, ensuring that production goals and objectives are met.
  • Ensure Safety and Quality: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols. Ensure that all products meet quality standards.
  • Conduct Training and Coaching: Provide technical expertise and coaching to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent years of supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead effectively in a manufacturing environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and departments.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Computer Proficiency: Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Industry Experience: Distilled spirits bottling industry experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: While performing duties of job, employee is required to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
