Job Summary:
The Sanitation Supervisor is a critical role within the Sazerac Company, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in our food manufacturing facilities. This position requires a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and a commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Sanitation Procedures: Create and enforce sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Train and Educate Employees: Provide training and education to employees on sanitation procedures, GMPs, and food safety practices.
- Monitor and Improve Sanitation Schedules: Regularly review and improve sanitation schedules to ensure they are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Coordinate with Departments: Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance departments to ensure effective sanitation practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all sanitation procedures and practices are in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as engineering, food science, or chemistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Food Safety Certification or equivalent experience.
