Account Representative Professional

Make a difference at Daikin Applied, a leading innovator in HVAC systems, as we seek an Account Representative to develop and maintain customer relationships, sell preventative maintenance contracts, and provide recommendations for service and repair work for HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to travel territory daily. Prior experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the parts team, and our technicians
• Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information, or any other lead generation source.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships, and follow up on customer concerns.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of related sales experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence the market
• Ability to travel territory daily
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• HVAC industry experience
