The Opportunity

As a seasoned technical leader, you will play a critical role in improving the technology supporting the U.S. Federal Government. We are seeking an experienced systems administration or network administration professional with a strong background in leading teams on systems delivery or digital solutions projects. Your expertise will be vital in designing and deploying industry-leading Cross Domain Solutions, and you will be trained to expand into this area. You will work closely with your team to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network, providing valuable insights through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be essential in helping your team understand the network, turning metrics into information, and explaining their meaning. As a technical leader, you will also share your expertise through leadership and mentoring, helping your team grow and develop new methodologies. Additionally, you will identify new opportunities to modernize the network to meet the needs of your customers.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with systems administration or solutions architecture
  • Experience on a systems delivery or digital solutions project, such as a systems administration team or a networking administration team
  • Experience with Linux Systems Administration, including architectural design or operations and sustainment capacity
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Compliance Certification within 60 days of start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cross Domain Solutions, including Forcepoint High-Speed Guards, OWL Diodes, Radiant Mercury, or ISSE Guards
  • Experience with the design, deployment, and implementation of Network Security components, firewalls, switches, or VPNs
  • Experience in data flow engineering or operations
  • Experience with VMWare ESXi, vSphere, or vRealize Operations
  • Experience creating tailored Linux Operating systems through Kickstart or PXE
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies, including Chef, Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack
  • DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Compliance Certification
Clearance and Compensation

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
