Job Title: Senior Radar Systems Engineer

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Radar Systems Engineer to support all phases of radar system development, integration, and testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radar analysis and simulation and help develop radar system-level and subsystem-level requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance for subsystem development and implementation and provide support for system integration and testing.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, as the ability to support customer relations and management reporting requirements is essential.
Requirements:
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
  • 8-15 years of experience in radar systems, including radar and radar-related concepts such as the Doppler effect, detection theory, tracking, digital signal processing (FFT, IIR/FIR filtering, etc.), waveform generation, receiver design, and antenna theory.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with RF, analog, digital, or microwave hardware design.
  • Use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Expert level proficiency in MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with software development, C++, and Linux operating systems.
