Job Overview

This entry-level position as a New Patient Engagement Representative is vital in fostering effective communication with both prospective and current patients through various channels, including telephone and email. The focus is on delivering an exceptional patient experience consistently. This role is responsible for managing all inquiries from new patients, facilitating patient registration, and compiling weekly and monthly reports on inquiries and registrations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly respond to all incoming inquiries from potential new patients.
  • Provide outstanding patient service during all interactions, whether through calls, emails, or chat.
  • Guide patients interested in scheduling appointments to complete necessary registration forms via various methods.
  • Document patient calls on a daily basis.
  • Direct registration forms to the appropriate contacts at each facility or business office.
  • Maintain a monthly log for new patient referrals.
  • Send new patient information packets upon request.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is upheld at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
  • 1-2 years of experience in patient interaction or scheduling is preferred.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems is necessary.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities are essential.
