Position Summary

As the Marketing Coordinator at ACA, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that support all ACA initiatives, products, and services (such as membership, events, advocacy, publications, and webinars). Your role will be crucial in delivering pertinent content to the appropriate audience at the optimal time, thereby supporting our mission of promoting health and well-being through advocacy, community, inclusion, and research.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to create innovative marketing campaigns, engaging with staff throughout the organization. You will play a vital role in maintaining brand consistency across all ACA communications and marketing materials. Additionally, you will oversee all facets of our email marketing efforts and assist with social media initiatives, including scheduling, testing, obtaining approvals, curating, editing content, and monitoring performance. The Marketing Coordinator will be instrumental in developing a robust digital marketing strategy that effectively communicates our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee email marketing initiatives, including creation, testing, scheduling, and approval workflows.
  • Contribute to the formulation of marketing strategies, tactics, and research for ACA programs, products, and services.
  • Draft and refine marketing content for emails, websites, social media, and print advertisements.
  • Manage incoming requests for Communications and Marketing support from staff across the organization.
  • Collaborate with ACA's graphic design team to produce brand-compliant creative materials in support of marketing strategies.
  • Work alongside ACA's Communications team to develop impactful social media campaigns that promote ACA programs, products, and services.
  • Assist in analytics management by tracking and evaluating the performance of marketing efforts across all channels, including email, social media, print, and web. Utilize data to recommend enhancements to marketing strategies.
  • Support logistical efforts for ACA's field marketing activities, including identifying collateral needs and preparing materials for distribution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in an association or nonprofit setting is preferred.
  • Practical experience in executing marketing campaigns, including familiarity with email service providers and social media management tools, as well as proficiency in Google Analytics.
  • Strong marketing copywriting abilities, with experience in search engine optimization (SEO) and the capacity to present information in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Commitment to staying informed about current trends, research, and best practices in the mental health sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
