Language and Cognitive Care Position

Duties and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address specific needs.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation according to regulatory requirements.

Education and Licensure

To excel as a Language and Cognitive Care Professional, you should possess:

  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited institution by ASHA.
  • Licensure in the state of Kentucky and certification as a speech-language pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year Eligibility.
  • BLS Certification.
