About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the maintenance of community facilities within assigned regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of facilities, inspecting elements for repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and health policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and plans all maintenance activities, analyzing reliability issues, equipment needs, and predictive or preventative maintenance programs.
  • Develops and implements routine maintenance schedules across all assigned communities.
  • Visits each assigned community a minimum of twice monthly to conduct inspections and address deficiencies.
  • Performs hands-on maintenance duties as needed to assist community Directors of Maintenance.
  • Establishes and ensures implementation of minimum facility safety protocols.
  • Develops and implements maintenance staff training programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The successful candidate will indirectly supervise staff in the Environmental Services Department at assigned communities, coordinating with community executive directors to carry out supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in maintenance or related fields.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • General carpentry and handyman experience.
  • HVAC and/or refrigeration experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with power and hand-held tools and equipment.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of word processing software, inventory software, and payroll systems.
